One of my new favourite quotes

In The Merry Wives of Windsor, Sir Falstaff – a rather rotund, well-off gentleman who thinks he’s God’s gift to women –  begins to describe how a woman was checking him out (or so he thinks). One of his servants called Pistol listens to all this bragging (and obviously knows his boss is talking bullshit) and remarks:

Then did the sun on dunghill shine.
